Human Body and Garuda

It is said that a man who does not deviate from the path of Dharma develops the two wings of devotion and knowledge and the tail that propels him forward is the Karma Yoga. Such an individual rises like an eagle with Lord Vishnu always on top and the Lord helps him in navigating through the tough terrains of earthly existence before merging with the Supreme Soul.

Writing on the concept of Garuda as the Vahana of Vishnu, Swamini Saradapriyananda says that

An individual in the world really sustains the continuity of the world. His three aspects, as Knower through the intellect, as Enjoyer through his mind and as Doer through his body, demand the continuation of the world. The knowledge and enjoyment are interdependent and vary simultaneously, while the actions of a man affect his knowledge and enjoyment too. Thus Garuda having the two wings of mind and intellect balanced by the tail of the body, is the carrier of Vishnu.

No one can erase the writing of Brahma, a beautiful story is described in Skandapurana....

Once the assembly of the gods was going on in Prayag, all the gods and Goddesses came and Yamraj also came. There was a pigeon sitting on top of a tree, Yamraj laughed out loud seeing the pigeon.

Pigeon saw Yamraj laughing, Yamraj went to the assembly laughing. After some time, Lord Narayan came riding on Garun, landed and went to the assembly.

The pigeon sitting on the tree was crying. When Garun Dev's eyes went on that crying pigeon, he asked what happened? Why are you crying?

On this pigeon said that Yamraj had come some time ago and was laughing at me, his laugh is now indicating that he will take me away as soon as the meeting is over, my death has come, but I do not want to die yet

Seeing the pain of this pigeon, Garun ji felt pity and he said to the pigeon that you are crying for such a small thing?

The pigeon said, it is a very big thing for me, on hearing this, Garun Dev asked the pigeon to sit on his back and took him ten thousand schemes away and sat in a cave and said, now sit here without worry, so much here Yamraj will not be able to come a little far away because there are four kos in a scheme, according to this, forty thousand kos away, the pigeon will sit in the cave and tell him to stay here comfortably.

Saying this, Garundev came to the assembly again with his fast flight. The meeting ended and Yamraj Dev came out, when he saw outside on a tree, there was no pigeon. Brahma ji was also watching all this continuously. Yamraj ji started looking here and there and started thinking that he was just a pigeon, where has he gone now.

Now again Yamraj Dev started laughing, seeing him laughing, Garundev said, Sir, when you came, you were laughing at the pigeon, now you are laughing even if he did not show, please tell me why are you laughing like this?

On this, Yamraj said that I am laughing because the writing of God Brahma can never be wrong.

Why did Garundev speak on this?

Yamraj said, ′′ I came to the assembly and saw that pigeon sitting comfortably, I was thinking how comfortably he is sitting and happy, while he died shortly and he was laughing thinking that God, what do you write Let's give, he is sitting here and you have written his death ten thousand schemes away, he is a guest for a while but how can he reach the place written by Brahma that far away from Prayag to die and at that time I am Brahma I was laughing at the shortcomings of Ji and now I am laughing thinking that no one can erase your article Brahma. I was getting surprised but you made it to the mouth of death.

Garundev looked at him with surprise and asked how this could happen? On this Yamraj said that Brahma ji had written that eating a python ten thousand schemes away will cause his death and you sent him there.

On this, Garun ji said that I have made him sit in a cave, there was no python there.

Yamraj said that you should go and see that you have left the pigeon in the mouth of a python.

Garun ji went there while flying and saw that Yamraj's words were true, what he thought was a cave, in reality it was the mouth of a python.

Garun ji started thinking that I had brought him to save him but he reached the place of his death.

In this way, no one can erase the writing of the law, whose death is fixed, he reaches there in any way. No matter how clever one is in front of the creator of the world, all the cleverness becomes useless.

So, to live a good life, chant Bhagwat, keep doing good deeds because you don't know which moment is the last moment.
